Dewar’s White Label Scratched Cask is a blended Scotch whisky finished in American oak casks that have been heavily charred and lightly scratched. This finishing process, which Dewar’s calls “Scratching”, enhances the vanilla and oaky notes while adding a subtle hint of spice. The resulting whisky is described as having a smoother taste and a longer, lingering finish.
