The Macallan Concept Number 1 is a 70cl single malt Scotch whisky known for its unique maturation process and surreal art-inspired packaging. It’s a limited edition expression that was first matured in sherry-seasoned oak casks, then transferred to ex-bourbon casks for an equal period, a technique called double maturation. This results in a flavor profile of sweet orange and lemon citrus, soft oak spices, fresh fruit, and ginger, with a medium sweet, dry finish.

- Nose: Sweet butterscotch toffee, almond, ginger spice, cinnamon, dried fruit, citrus, and green banana.
- Palate: Sweet orange and lemon citrus with soft oak spices, fresh fruit, and ginger.
