The Dalmore King Alexander III is a unique single malt Scotch whisky that was created to celebrate King Alexander III and the Mackenzie clan’s history. It’s a sextuple-wood bottling, matured in a variety of casks including wine, Madeira, Sherry, Marsala, Kentucky Bourbon, and Port casks. The whisky is known for its rich, complex flavor profile with notes of red berries, passion fruit, citrus zest, vanilla, crème caramel, and spices.Â
Aroma: Red berry fruits, passion fruit, hints of citrus, and vanilla.Â
Palate: Citrus zest, vanilla pod, crème caramel, crushed almonds, and sweet liqueur notes like Grand Marnier, Kirsch, and Frangelico.Â
Finish: Cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and peppery notes with well-integrated oak.Â
