THE MACALLAN 3X70CL CONCEPT NUMBER 1,2,AND 3

The Macallan Concept series is a collection of limited-edition single malt Scotch whiskies that explore the intersection of whisky making and other creative fields. Each release in the series is inspired by a different theme, showcasing the innovative and artistic side of The Macallan. 

Concept Number 1: Inspired by surreal art and innovative production techniques, this release explores the concept of maturation by using whiskies matured in both sherry and bourbon casks. It’s characterized by aromas of sweet butterscotch, ginger spice, and citrus, with a medium sweet, dry finish. 

Concept Number 2: This release is inspired by the connection between whisky making and music, drawing parallels between the creative processes involved.It features a combination of sherry-seasoned American oak, ex-bourbon, and Miguel Martin sherry casks, resulting in a rich and complex flavor profile. 

Concept Number 3: The final release in the series, Concept Number 3, focuses on the relationship between whisky and graphic design, celebrating the artistry and creativity of both fields. The whisky is described as having aromas of pear, apricot, and vanilla, with a palate featuring apple, pear, and oak spice.
